His Excellency John Kali CMG OBE was appointed as PNG High Commissioner to Australia in December 2017, having served in the public service for almost four decades. Prior to his appointment as High Commissioner, Mr Kali was the longest serving Departmental Secretary in the PNG Public Service, having served as Secretary for Department of Personnel Management for more than a decade.
