His Excellency John Kali CMG OBE was appointed as PNG High Commissioner to Australia in December 2017, having served in the public service for almost four decades. Prior to his appointment as High Commissioner, Mr Kali was the longest serving Departmental Secretary in the PNG Public Service, having served as Secretary for Department of Personnel Management for more than a decade. Senator the Hon. Winnie Kiap was appointed High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to the United Kingdom with accreditation to Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, South Africa and Zimbabwe in 2011. She also represents Papua New Guinea at the Commonwealth Secretariat, Commonwealth Foundation, International Coffee Organisation, International Maritime Organisation and the International Cocoa Organisation.   She is chair of the Commonwealth Secretariat Board of Governors and on the Board of the Eminent Persons Group of the Pacific Leadership Foundation.   She began her career in the Papua New Guinea Department of Trade and Industry, later moving to the position of Director of Corporate Services in the Investment Promotion Authority. Jocelyn Vaskas joined Wood Mackenzie’s Australasia Upstream Research team in 2021 as a Principal Analyst. During this time, her focus has been on project economics, LNG supply and gas monetisation, and industry trends. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Jocelyn worked for Shell in numerous technical and commercial roles across exploration and production in Houston, the Hague and Perth.  She brings 25 years upstream experience across all areas of field asset life from exploration through to abandonment. Her most recent experience focused on the maturation of exploration discoveries to development in the Americas and Asia Pacific region.
