Wayne is co-founder and CEO of Australian technology company RedEye, which developed the world’s first purpose-built cloud and mobile-based solution for managing engineering drawing and data in 2012. Today, its clients use its software-as-a-service solution to manage over $250 billion worth of assets.
The company has offices in Brisbane, the US, New Zealand and Asia and employs over 100 staff. Wayne is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, and sits on a number of boards, industry panels and government initiatives to help drive the development of a world-class innovation ecosystem in Queensland.
He is a former Managing Director of mining and energy sector consultants, SDG. In 2015, Wayne was named the Queensland Entrepreneur of the Year. He was appointed Chief Entrepreneur of Queensland in June 2021.
