ABOUT
Peter has 23 years of experience in the mining, petroleum and energy industries. His background includes hydrocarbon exploration and development projects across Australasia, Middle East and Africa. Peter consulted for Saudi Aramco’s super giant oil field; Ghawar Field and other fields in Saudi Arabia for 4 years, in addition to RasGas in development of the world’s first largest LNG Project in Qatar. He consulted for development of the first oil field in Mozambique for South African Sasol International Petroleum.
In PNG, Peter has been involved with successful exploration and full field development projects including the Kutubu Oil Project, PNGLNG Project and upcoming Papua LNG Project. Peter’s recent past work with the Gulf Provincial Government includes the proposal of the Gulf Gas Hub.
He is currently working with the Kikori District Development Authority in partnership with the Department of Commerce and Industry on the Ihu Special Economic Zone to incorporate the Gulf Gas Hub and Kikori Free Trade Zone into one economic envelope.
