ABOUT
Andrew Betteridge is Country Head and Managing Director of ANZ Papua New Guinea, leading the bank’s Corporate and Institutional franchise from Port Moresby and representing ANZ with government, regulators, and senior industry stakeholders.
With nearly two decades in banking across developed and emerging markets, he combines strategic leadership with disciplined risk governance and commercial execution. Prior to his current role, he served as Deputy Country Head & Executive Director, Institutional PNG, and earlier led Research & Analysis across PNG, Fiji and the wider Pacific.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Accounting & Commercial Law) from Victoria University of Wellington and a Certificate in Green & Sustainable Finance from the Chartered Banker Institute.
Andrew is also a member of the Boards or Management Committees of the Institute of Banking & Business Management, the Papua New Guinea Banking Association and the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council.
