ABOUT
Alan Milne is an experienced aviation executive and engineer with over 44 years of expertise in Papua New Guinea and Australia.
He has held various senior roles in engineering, operations, and airline leadership, including serving as CEO of Air Niugini from 2018 to 2020 and as CEO of Skytrans Airlines in Australia from 2020 to 2025.
With a strong background in airline management, Alan has worked with the Qantas Group and has a proven track record in guiding airlines through complex operational and market challenges.
He is double university degree qualified, a licensed aircraft engineer, and a qualified pilot.
Currently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Air Niugini, Alan plays a pivotal role in leading the airline’s modernisation efforts, fleet renewal, and long-term sustainability initiatives supported by the Papua New Guinea government.
